JSDE Excellent Event Award

1. Introduction

  1. JSDE Excellent Event Award has been given to outstanding events held, joint held or supported by JSDE in order to encourage academic research, engineering development and educational activities and to reward the efforts of researchers, engineers, educationists and students.
  2. Any individuals and associations are eligible to be awarded, regardless to JSDE member or not.
  3. “JSDE Excellent Event Award” is a general name. Hence, organizers can add extra name freely such as “Highest award”, “Excellent award”, “Effort award”, “Fine work award”, “Idea award”, “Championship”, “Finish second” and so on.
  4. Anyone who want to give this award at any competition or exhibision should submit to our Board on General Affairs and Finance beforehand, at least Three months earlier, by using application form which can be downloaded from the following link.
  5. Anyone who want to give this award at any competition or exhitision should submit the following information by using application form below:
    1. Name of the competition or exhibision
    2. Date and place of the event
    3. Organizer, Co-organizer or Supporting organizer
    4. Name of the representative person and his or her contact information
    5. Name and contact information of the organizer
    6. Purpose of the event
    7. Relationship between the event purpose and JSDE activity
    8. Practical name and quantity of each award, and its inquiry criterion
    9. Member of the inquiry committee
    10. Request for dispatching of presenter from our society
    11. Existence of other society’s awarding
  6. Presentation of the award should be done at the event spot as a general rule. However, it can be done later depend on organizer’s convenience.
  7. Testimonial and prize medal are given to winners. It is also announced on JSDE journal.
